Simba Queens have approached three players from Kenyan side Vihiga Queens who sent the Tanzanian women football giants packing at the ongoing CAF Women Champions League qualifiers.
The fancied Tanzanians fell 2-1 at the hands of Vihiha Queens during Monday’s semis at the Nyayo National stadium and now coach Hababuu Ali is keen to bring the impressive trio of Jentrix Shikangwa, Violet Wanyonyi and Terry Engesha with them to Dar es Salaam.

Simba Queens have lost two key players; Oppa Clement Sanga who landed a lucrative deal with an Israel club and Flavine Mawete Musolo who is heading to Turkey.
Simba Queens Team Manager Selemani Makanya acknowledged their opponents had been worthy victors on the day and added they were keen to bolster their squad over the coming month.
“We were very disappointed by our loss against Vihiga because we really fought hard but I think my players did not concentrate. We have a new coach and are in a period of transition so maybe part of the reason for that loss is down to that fact too.

“Vihiga was a tough side and they played a defensive game at first which was a way of reading our game. In the second half they changed their style and start pressing high; they caught us out,” Makanya said.
